So a few days ago, the internet on my desktop simply went out. I troubleshooted it and got a response saying "Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration." I searched through forums, tried renewing the DNS, changing connection settings, etc. I came to the conlucusion that the Ethernet did not work on my motherboard, and that i should get a network card. I got one today, plugged it in, installed drivers, and the same message and problem arises. I tired everything i had done before again but to no avail. Where should i go from here, motherboard replacement or is there something else i should try?
