Okay so I probably figured out what the issue is. Reading Videotron's description I thought that the modem provides only one signal ( either 2.4 or 5 GHz) depending on the situation. Instead, I think it provides both signals, and the PC that connects to the WiFi chooses one signal. So I checked the infos of the WiFi I am connected to and it shows 2.4GHz while on the other PCs it shows 5GHz. When I tried the USB adapter of my friend, the WiFi that I was connected to was already set up to 2.4GHz, I should have forgotten it and then reconnect.

So basically my Network Adapter only works with 2.4GHz and to solve the issue I can buy another Adapter that works with 5GHz.

look forward to the outcome. (y)

2.4GHz vs 5GHz both have their pro's and con's.
basically 2.4 has better penetration and travels further and 5 is faster but doesn't go through walls well.
