Spec:
ryzen 5 3600
gigabyte b550 gaming x
gigabyte rtx 2070 super
gigabyte 256gb nvme ssd
gigabyte 650w psu
coolermaster ML240
wd 1tb 7200

Issue:
After few minutes after switching on, the display is cut off.
GPU, Cooler, Case fans are spinning fine, power btn led is on, all led's are on, no parts heating, no beeping.
After display goes dark, OS is not running, checked by trying to ssh & telnet after display goes off and it does not works.
Tried re-assembly, jumped reset cmos, re-isntalled OS, removed ssd and only used hdd.
Happening across any os - windows/ubuntu.

No overclocks. Bios settings set to stock, also tried setting pcie x16 to gen3, gen4 & auto, it does not solves.
ssh ofcourse works when monitor is on . Tried another monitor and it's the same.

Btw i've tested with 2 different LG 27uk650 monitors.

What could be the issue - faulty mobo/gpu/psu?

Is this a new build or has it previously been in use and working without any issue/s.

coolermaster ML240

Are you aware that by using a third party CPU cooler you have voided your AMD CPU warranty, see Extent of Limited Warranty info here

New build, assembled in nov 2020 was working without any issue till date. display started going off past few days, unable to use at all.

Thanks for pointing out the warranty nuance, at this point not concerned about cpu warranty.

CPU hasn't been removed from socket after fresh assemble, I don't think it's a cpu issue.

Being that this is a build that has been in use without any issue and that the same thing also happens when running Ubuntu software has been ruled out.

Have you made sure that the liquid cooling pump has not run dry or the pump stopped working.

What is the model name or number of the 650W Gigabyte PSU, post a link to its specs if you can.

This GP-P650B https://www.gigabyte.com/Power-Supply/Power-Supply#kf

That is a poor quality PSU for a build such as yours, so poor in fact that it only makes Tier C • Recommended for cheap mid/low-end systems here

What about the above, overheating can also cause a screen to go black.
