and, even if we don't end up doing a 'nuke from space' reinstall of Windows, you should have a backup of your data anyway.

so get an external hard drive and copy onto it any folder you think you want to keep. :)
it is currently been completely wiped and starting fresh to see if that’s the issue i will reply as soon as it’s done with an update

it all seems to be working i didn’t even reset it the cpu fan was replaced and it seems to have worked, kind of annoying considering i said i think it’s the cpu fan to begin with but was instantly told by many that won’t be the issue lol
 
I just went back through this thread and must have again missed where you pointed out you thought it was the fan.
if it was purely fan related, I would have thought your issue would have presented itself in general PC use, not just with games, even though games would stress the CPU the most.

I assume you have played some games for an extended period to stress test it?
