hi my cpu debug lights shows and pc doesn’t post. last time this happened i solved it with help from someone on this website. the cause was i had put my ram speed too high. this time i haven’t touched the bios and it just isn’t working again.
specs
ryzen 53600
msi b450m mortar max
16gb vengeance ram 360mhz
600w system power 9 psu
zotac gtx 1600
all i have done so far is unplug the pc, drain it off power and removed the cmos.
the only thing i can think of is last night i was rendering a video and my cpu temp went up to 73 degrees( speccy). after i’ve done the rendering it hasn’t worked. and it’s worked before i did the rendering.

Ok so you have the skill set to remove the cpu cooler and check the cpu is sitting correctly.
I really do not see any other option as you have cleared the cmos and it is the CPU light on the motherboard.
Do you have thermal paste.

Before doing the cpu pull the power - earth yourself do dicharge static and remove and reseat the ram

it’s a half day as it’s the last day before easter holidays. Will be back at around 1pm today.

yes, and after that it worked, forgot to mention it works spontaneously, like yesterday it was working, but now it isn't

ok i've done the ram and it still doesn't work. It is the cpu light that stays on when it doesn't post. When it does post they all come on but only for a second or so. By the way i didn't manage to do the cpu fan because i din't 'have any thermal paste which i thought i did.

yes, it must be somethingn related to the cpu though no? otherwise why would the CPU light come on and stay on and not one of the others?
