Thats the current one.

New kinda update that might signal the end of this. So as I said I couldn't get a new adapter today. A friend suggested something I hadn't thought of. Before I had tried hotspotting my phone while using the wifi to no effect. He suggested connecting the phone by USB and sharing the wifi (Didnt know it was a thing) so the phone basically acts like a temporary wifi adapter... IT WORKED!!! So through my phone my computer is currently connected to the wifi. So to me this suggests that the problem IS the wifi adapter. I'll know on Wednesday when I get a new one but it looks like we finally know what the problem is... I think lol.

Hey mate. Yeah i have no idea where the cd would be. Yeah its just the driver installed from plugging it in. Totally forgot there was tplink software lol.

Hey guys. really sorry. Been super busy. @PeterOz Did all that. yeah still didn't work. I'm getting a new dongle tomorrow which would seem to help. I've been able to USB tether the net through my phone to the computer consistently so to me it seems like it's the dongle. I'll give a final update tomorrow when I get the new one, but it does look like this is coming to an end :)
