If run the pre-installer I downloaded from CNET and choose the free version, download the installer only in the options, then the message window “Macrium Reflect Download Agent’ appears. It says : “Download Error
One or more files failed to download, WinPE components can be downloaded automatically in the main application
Online help is available (Error Code: 1) [link: knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Installing+Macrium+Reflect#InstallingMacriumReflect-ResolvingDownloadIssues]

That version of Macrion Reflect seems to work. It created something that could be an image file.

Why don’t you backup ?

Macrium have a good help file
You get create an image then backup only data that changes
You can also set how long to keep backups so your drive does not get full.
Why don’t you backup ?
Nothing to loose
I have my win 7 and office disk
something goes wrong fresh install
