I have a Lenovo TB-X103F tablet. It's a couple of years old but has just started having a problem in Chrome.

If I play a video such as on Dailymotion or Vimeo I can not then close or leave that tab.

To do so I have to close the app and then go back in.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled updates on Chrome.

It's been doing this for around a week and is pretty inconvenient

Oh I see what you mean

I have the Dailymotion app. A lot of the videos I watch there are opened from links on YouTube and they take me to the in-browser site. I'm not sure I can set it to go to the app instead

The Vimeo app on Play isn't compatible with my machine

And unfortunately a lot of the videos I watch are on other channels which don't seem to have an app

I have found the problem occurs when I go to full screen on a video

If I stay in smaller screen I can still control the tabs

I'm not sure if I can update Android. A brief Google search suggests I would get notifications when a new version is available. I don't know if there is anything more I can do

When you say 'clear out some space' what does that mean?

I don't think I have apps I don't want

I'm not sure what remove unused data means

'clear the cache' does that mean go through every app and clear the cache or just within the Chrome app?
