Not really. That AliExpress app is awful to navigate or find things. And seems obligatory to open a dispute. I had another useless correspondence via the dispute facility a few days ago but could find no way to respond. Came across 2 buttons, one which apparently is for agreeing, which was a non-starter, but the other seemed to be for ending the dispute, another non-starter, so I finally gave up and ignored it. Assuming my complaint and attached screen dumps will be used to find in my favour after 15 days. Meanwhile I don't feel much like making another purchase while this is going on. I simply don't know where I stand.
 
My screen shots were not from an app - from the aliexpress web page.
They send an email saying the product delivered. That connects to the other page.
I do not have an aliexpress app
 
I have the app. It seemed to be obligatory to open a dispute.

A couple of days ago AliExpress got involved, stated my complaint was valid, and suggested a refund. I accepted. Heard nothing more since.
 
Have received the refund. Still have glass; maybe it'll come in useful in the future, but probably not. So that bit went well anyway. I wasn't convinced I'd get it. I will need to find time to try again, then, but it'll be more expensive than that last one.
 
Sorry, I didn't spot your update arrive. In addition I've yet to order a full new screen either. Each day goes by, I intend to order again, but come the end of the day and I've not got around to it. (I think the refurb replacement has made things less urgent, plus the unfortunate start to try to buy a new screen has dulled the enthusiasm a bit too.) But I must kick it off again soon.

Do I still need help ? Good question. I could probably handle it from here if you wanted to close ithe thread, on the other hand I'm actually right back at square one, no further forward yet. I'll leave it to your discretion, thanks.
 
To avoid us having to ask for an update every couple of days we will close this thread until the OP has the time available to work towards resolving the issue, PM a member of staff when you are ready and the thread can be reopened.
