It's a usb stick and I did use the media creation tool, once the usb is plugged in the computer just does nothing, a blank screen.what medium is trying to boot from the USB port, a hard drive or a USB stick?
either would need to be a bootable USB medium - that is, have the correct boot record for Windows to find.
if you used the Windows Media Creation Tool, it'll make a bootable USB stick for you.
I've done all of what you said.Have you set the BIOS to boot from USB first?
Is there a key which if pressed on startup (F7, F8 F12 etc) which will allow you to select the boot media? If yes are you rapidly clicking this as soon as you see the pc manufacturer’s logo?
Did you create the boot media on another PC? If yes did you choose to create the media for another pc rather than allowing the tool to pre-select the settings?

Looking through the manual I cannot see an option to boot from usb in your bios.
When you plug a usb in does it show in the boot option in the bios?

I found how to turn the quick boot of but all that's now happening is the pc sits on the motherboard screen for 3 to 4 mins then nothing.No, how do I do that?
