Hi,

In a bit of conundrum and looking for some advice from the more experienced.

Already having more issues with this build than with any previous. The debug lights on the MOBO only get past VRAM when I only use one of the RAM slots (I've tried both chips in each slot and both work in the one slot, but neither work in the other).

At which point all four debug LED light up all the way to "boot", but I get no visuals or signs that the boot has actually occurred. This happens with or without the hard-drives plugged in. By plugging in a bootable USB in (Windows10 or MOBO drivers) the debug LEDs all light up then go out, leading me to believe that it has properly booted, at least in some form. But I still get no visuals, I've tried multiple monitors, cables and both the HDMI and DVI port on the MOBO.

I've tried plugging in headphones, and as far as I can tell I'm not getting any error beeps.

Am I missing something here? With my previous builds I was pretty sure I had no issue reaching the BIOS screen without any sort of driver installation or anything like that, but I can't imagine what else could be causing the issue at this point.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you!

not sure you would hear any beeps at startup via the headphones.
on successful boot there should be one beep, best to get a motherboard speaker to check that with.

also consider reassembling to whole gear on a piece of cardboard on a table of the floor.

Technically it should not matter BUT your ram is not on the list for the board or cpu. Normally should boot and just downgrade the memory. Maybe not always
