Download BlackBird
Unzip to your desktop.
Drag Blackbird.exe to desktop.
Open command prompt as admin.
Copy the content of the code box below.
Hit enter.
Reboot the machine for the changes to take effect.

Code:
%userprofile%\Desktop\blackbird.exe -i

The -i switch blackbird -i = Fix Bluetooth pairing, Device Settings, Focus/Assist and user notifications.

This sometimes works, sometimes not. If it does not then you are in good hands with @phillpower2

1. Uninstall your existing bluetooth stack (driver software that came with the bluetooth adapter).
2. Reboot your computer and click "Cancel" when Windows asks for the driver.
3.Run BluetoothDriverInstaller.exe and follow instructions of the wizard.

Download and install the BluetoothDriverInstaller_x64.exe this tool will usually find a decent generic blue tooth driver for your machine.

The BlackBird thing in the command prompt didnt do anything. I uninstalled the bluetooth adapter in device manager then restarted my pc but Windows didnt ask for the driver, it just reinstalled it automatically.

Will be looking at Speccy and your MTB log for a while so please follow the above suggested by Mal.

Something that I will mention, straight away in Speccy two things are apparent, the computer was not set up correctly and you are using generic BT drivers from Microsoft, this is exactly what I meant in my reply #19;

Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

And the below is what JBL state about drivers;

The standard drivers provided by Microsoft/Windows system are not correct and will result in error messages

The thing is, that my problem just randomly appeared like it worked perfectly fine before and one day just stopped doing so. Thats why i dont get it. Anyways, if I set up my computer incorrectly shouldnt i just reinstall Windows correctly? Or if the standard drivers provided by Microsoft doesnt work with my JBL speaker, shouldnt i just search for one that works?

As above, do what Mal has suggested before doing anything else, clean installing is always a last resort so explore other options first.

Noticed that your MB does not have onboard BT, how are you connecting your BT devices.

Do you have anything plugged into any of the PCs speaker or headphone ports.

I bought an external bluetooth adapter, and plugged that in

to a usb port.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed,, thanks.

What is the brand and model name or number of this BT device, it aint showing/detected by Speccy

You missed answering the above.

Two other things to mention in Speccy;

Power Profile
Active power scheme: High performance

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, Ultra and High Performance are a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues, the setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.

Your BIOS is years out of date and two of the missing updates are to protect you against malicious content.

The adapter is a TP LINK Bluetooth 5.0 Nano USB adapter and currently yes, i have my wired headphones plugged into one of the ports. I will also change the power plan settings as u mentioned.

i have my wired headphones plugged into one of the ports

May not be the cause in this instance but for future reference plugging in headphones would disable BT speakers.

Leave it at that for now and follow Mals suggestions.

Fwiw: You should have installed BT drivers for Windows 11 direct from TP Link and in all honesty if the device is out of the box new I would be surprised if there was not a driver disk bundled with it.

I have tried to get the JBL speaker working withouth the wired headphones plugged in already, it doesnt make a difference and it didnt either because the only reason i have wired headphones plugged in is that the JBL speaker ist working. I have already replied to Mal and did his suggestions btw (#22). And about the bluetooth driver, i really dont think thats the issue since my bluetooth controller works perfectly fine, as i stated in my original post.

So why do they go to the time, trouble and expense of writing specific drivers for their hardware.

I best leave this with seeings how you appear to know best.

RIGHT AS WE SPEAK omg. I found my old wireless JBL airpod like headphones and they connected and worked fine. I tried to connect the speaker after that and now it works! Im sorry if i was a pain in the ***, i know you was just trying to help but i was frustrated now that i couldnt solve this for over 2 months now. Thank you all who took ur time to deal with this.

Glad to hear it and we forgive you :LOL:

First thing that you need to do now is create a new system restore point and whatever you do always create a new one before updating Windows or any other program and likewise before installing any new program.

To create a system restore point, select Start and type Create a restore point and select it.

On the System Protection tab in System Properties, select Create, type a description ( I just enter that days date ) then select create.

Wait until the process ends. select the close button, select the Ok button and you are done.
