When you get the new SSD will strongly suggest that you create install media and do a fresh install then install the Chip-set and drivers in the proper order.

This way you are not copying old issues over form the previous install.

Also suggest that you look into a bigger SSD and external storage for backing up important data that you d not wish to loose.

the motherboard is new . . the ssd is new
when i create an image of the o/s with easus then rewrite it to the ssd
the next time i boot the mobo cant find the operating system ( which is an exact copy of the original )
this is the problem

ive stripped everything back to 1 drive 1 partion and installed windows ( 240g ssd )
it boots reboots no prob
i have now added a second ' DATA ' drive ( 240g ssd ) with pre installed system progs
i have now installed 'easeus free' and created a system image
i have now replaced the original operating system with the image
it now boots evey time
so now i am going to add more progs and at least 1 more drive and do system images
as i go along which i will run . . and hope i dont get the ' cant find the system message ' again
morel is ' dont confuse the motherboard ' i never could before EUFI
thanks for all the i/p

As suspected & mentioned it seems the original image was corrupt. This is why I mentioned imaging again with Macrium to rule out an EaseUs problem.
