Warzone FPS Issues - Pls help

Status
Not open for further replies.
So I am trying to play Warzone on my pc, my specs are:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
- RAM: 16GB Corsair
- Graphics Card: 12GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060
- 1TB HHD SEAGATE BARRACUDA
- 1TB SSD
I also have 2 monitors, one for my gameplay and one for my chat etc when i stream.
I have tried going onto my settings and altering graphics so they're all Low etc but that seems to have no effect, as soon as i click onto my main gameplay screen (where warzone is loaded up) the FPS just tanks and wont ever go above 3FPS however if i click onto my other monitor, the FPS instantly jumps to 170. Is it something to do with having a second monitor plugged in or what? I have been told to get more RAM (which im currently saving up for) however surely 16gb is suitable to run Warzone on the low settings?

Honestly anything will help as im really stuck as to what to do and this leaves me unable to play the game

16GB is sufficient for most gaming, while they are requiring more I find it difficult to believe that is your difficulty.

Are you streaming when this happens?

A stable internet connection can sometimes impact these sorts of things, a speedtest might be a good idea.

Is Warzone loaded on your SSD or HDD, I've had instances where games like this could not physically run on a Hard Drive, they're becoming so large nowadays.

Posting a Speccy tells us about the important specs and relevant information of your PC.

You can find the info here on how to do so.

You want to upload it and paste the link in your reply as such:

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Okay perfect, i wasn't in a rush for additional RAM anyway but beneficial to note.

I am not streaming when this issue occurs - I have noticed if I don't have anything open on my second monitor that the FPS will run marginally better, however not enough to make the game playable. Also warzone is saved to my SSD which still has 380+GB of space, would it be better stored on my HDD??

Thank you for your help so far
