I bought a 1TB external hard drive (SAMSUNG) in hope to make some storage space for games. On steam, I've set it as a steam library folder, but whenever I try to download anything onto the external harddrive, my steam completely freezes up, before closing itself. I have no idea what to do, anyone got any advice?

(Steam) My external hard drive cannot download steam games without completely crashing steam.
