Solved Psu (I think) making ticking noises

hi guys, its been several days since i add new graphics card into my pc and the psu is making some ticking noises I think. Before my pc get a new graphics card and run on a apu this ticking noise only happen shorty after booting then it went quite, but now it happens most likely until the pc turned back off. sometimes it stop ticking for just a couple minutes and then it start ticking again, I'm really worry if there is anything wrong with my pc, if anyone can help or know the issue please let me know,

the noise that kicks in at 5secs, is that background music?
if not, that's another noise to look into.
the first noise sounds like normal hard drive activity to me, the second, some sort of bearing whine.

really put your ear up to both the PSU and the hard drive.
I also find a screwdriver an excellent amplifier.
put the plastic handle in your ear and rest the steel point on something making a noise, you'll get the noise sent right into your ear!

yes its a background noise, I tried to remove the hard drive and when I try to turn it on, the ticking noise is still there so I don't think its coming from the hard drive

The PSU should not be used anywhere near an add on GPU I`m afraid and so is the most likely cause, not even Bronze efficiency rated and so poor quality wise that it is rated as Tier E • Potentially dangerous in multiple scenarios here

In the defence of Cooler master they do actually state the below here

Sure.

Gold efficiency rated PSUs are for gaming type rigs, they are better quality, more efficient more of the time and good quality brands like Corsair, EVGA and Seasonic have 7, 10 or 12 year warranty periods.

EVGA and Seasonic Bronze efficiency rated PSUs are ok for older hardware that is not covered by any warranty, both brands are of good quality, efficient 80% or more of the time and will typically have a 3 year warranty period but the Seasonic at the link is 5 years.
