Problem with speed. Ram? Motherboard?

Hello. I’m not exactly sure where to start.
I have a pretty solid build with NVIDIA Geforce 1070 and SSD NVMe and an HDD.

So I’ve been rendering after effects videos at a good speed, but today after effects became very slow at rendering. 3x slower than normal. Rendering a near 2H video took 3-4 hours…now it’s 9-15. That’s not normal. I already did everything with after effects that I could but nothing. Attached is the footage of HDD squeaking occasionally WHILE saving the video which doesn’t usually happen. The sounds stopped after some time though. My PC has also been beeping twice after startup. 1 normal beep and a second lower pitch one. Says it might be the ram issue but I did change the ram already. I have a strong suspicion it’s the motherboard or specifically the RAM slots because the weird behavior began with PC not detecting the second ram stick. The double beeping began after the ram issue. Now I can’t render videos as fast. Not sure what’s going on anymore.

Thanks in advance, I’m exhausted from brainstorming. I want to get the exact same new motherboard.

Can you Download and run and then post. https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

The last part of each URL is randomized, so only people you provide with the URL will be able to find your profile.

The information given in Speccy cannot be used by anyone to hack your system

Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

Hello, Thanks for the reply.

Here's the link: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/i4nsUu8QFgoQJbcl6hO2QfD

and Power supply: https://www.amazon.ca/EVGA-SuperNOV...&ref_=ox_sc_saved_image_1&smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB

Have you tested the memory, SSD, or HDD?

An Extended test with Windows built-in memory diagnostic might be a good place to start.
Heya, thanks for the reply.

Memory diagnostic came out clean and so did everything else. I tested the performance of the whole system via UserBenchmark and it's mostly up to standards with the exception of video card and something else.

I notice you are using mismatched ram - Ram will run at the lowest speed stick.
For testing
are you able to uninstall java - can be re installed later or is it needed for your program?
If you have the serial key can you uninstall
Kaspersky Total Security Antivirus
Also can you change the power from High performance to balanced.
Test

Should I remove one of the RAM brands then?
I need Java.
Kaspersky has been uninstalled for a year.
Changed to balanced power.
By 'Test', you mean you want me to send the new Speccy link?

Does the render need java?
If not can you uninstall to test - you can reinstall later.
High performance in power is for laptops with a dedicated GPU.
It can cause stability issues with desktop computers.
Are you rending to the NVME or to the HDD.
If to the HDD can you render one to the NVME as a test.
Was all the original ram the same specs?

I need java only for Minecraft but ok. I uninstalled it.
Changed back to balanced power.
I’m saving the render to HDD usually.
The other ram that I removed has speed of 34000, the one I use has 36000. Both brands are 32GB. 64GB combined.
Tested render to SSD from NVMe (OS). The footage I’m using is saved on HDD since it’s for storage.

Render runs at same speed it seems.

(I do have one other issue which I’ll look for myself later.
Essentially when I got the NVMe, I used the Samsung Magician software to transfer my OS to NVMe from SSD. However I lost full control over SSD and cannot delete system files from it nor can I render to SSD)

OK!
SO.
I reformatted the SSD where the OS used to be, so it erased the drive and it now allows me to render onto it. It's also significantly faster!
I think the problem is solved.
Thanks for your time, and if there's anything else you'd like to add, i'd be happy to listen.

Tried doing it to NVMe, slower than to SSD.
