no, the results of pressing down and what is happening is completely different, i even used a mouse scroll wheel test and it kept saying it was going down
Usually the down arrow does the same function as the scroll wheel hence why I mentioned it.
Have you updated or reinstalled the mouse drivers? What about deleting the device from device manager & choosing scan for hardware changes?

You disabled the mouse?
What kind of mouse is this - make and model.
Is this a pc or laptop
Then it can't be the mouse

btw the problem only stops when i disable the mouse in device manager, what i meant was turning the mouse itself off
