Post # 32 there is a link explaining what PSU.
Thanks, I didn’t catch that. I’m a little more stressed to find a better PSU now and I don’t know what to get since many people are saying different things on the forum. Luckily I canceled the order and I will wait for someone to reply with a PSU that is compatible with my PC.wouldn't touch that PSU.
only Bronze rated, no mention of the warranty period and doesn't show up in Johnny Lucky's list.
here is my standard PSU reply...
Any power supply unit certified 80+ Gold (or better) and offering at least a 7 year warranty (preferably 10), and you can’t go wrong.
For example, ThermalTake ToughPower GF1 or GF3 ranges, Cooler Master, Antec, Corsair RM series.

Alright thanks! I’ll try to find something good.wise choice!
don't over think the new PSU - as said, anything at least Gold and 10 year warranty and you are good to go!
any brand that has those pre-requisites, you know you are looking at a solid build, with quality components, which they stand behind with their guaranteed warranty.
This one won’t work. It’s missing the 4 pin I need.I hope this will work, but finding the warranty is hard.
A quality 550W-650W 80+ Gold unit from Seasonic, Corsair, or EVGA should be more than enough for your needs depending on the power requirements of your specific 1030 model.
Check out this list for good PSUs
Guys I fixed it, I used my brother PSU 500W and it made a spark which concerned me but he came up with the great idea to plug in my old psu again and now everything is on! Thanks so much for the help I really really appreciate it!That's a poorly rated PSU, if you look at the link I referenced in post #43 you will be able to tell which units are worth buying.
The 10-year warranty isn't just about the usable time, it's about the components used in the actual powersupply. With a 7-10yr you know you are getting quality components, because they don't want to warranty anything they don't have to.
I will not be chiming in again if this response goes ignored as well.
This is the one I use. https://www.amazon.com/Computer-PC-Tester-Connectors-Enclosure/dp/B076CLNPPKTested how?
