Pc becoming louder and laggier

I got my pc around december 2020 for an xmas gift, the specs are:
Processor amd ryzen 3 3100 4 core processor 3.59 ghz
Ram 12gb
Gpu Radeon rx550/550 series
I’m aware that its pretty low end, but i’m fine with that I just want things to run smoothly with no lag and the pc to be quiet as it was. Also if i should have something replaced as a suggestion I wish for it to not be as expensive as my family don’t have that much money as of now. Thank u and feel free to ask questions

  • Please go here and download Speccy.
  • Install and run the program.
  • Upon Completion:
  • Hit File
  • Publish Snap Shot
  • A link will appear, post that link.
Get System Info Log.


Include in your next reply a Get System Info log.
Save it to your desktop when complete.
Once you have the file on your desktop, then upload it here.
Copy the URL after your report is loaded.
Then send us the link.

a couple of ideas off the bat....

the loudness may simply be dust build-up over the years.
remove the side cover and check the fan blades, heatsink on the processor, and the chassis intake and exhaust holes.

the increased lag could be 'performance rot' and a clean re-install of Windows and all your software may be in order - admittedly a big hammer I'll agree, but the only sure fire way I know of getting the rig back to its original speed.
