So right now im not sure what started to cause this problem, my pc was working fine like 1-2 weeks ago. This problem started lately im not sure if i messed it up by changing Power Plan settings or this came after some windows updates. But also i was getting Kernel Power 41 Event without BSOD. Please help me, thank you!

Hello

We need your full spec's on your psu.
Thanks for trying to help me bro. Here you go:

*Brand is Xigmatek Centauro S C550

My pc is exactly 1 year old. And it has worked well/never had any problems until last week
Do you think there could be a problem with Windows security update 5005565 ( i heard someone was getting kernel power 41 after this update)
Also i saw im getting WHEA-Logger 19 every single minute

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 0

The details view of this entry contains further information

Could be the update but i am not aware of that issue with the update.. Hopefully Phil will be online soon and give his take on the issue..

Edit: You could go back in and delete that update and see what happens.

Xigmatek Centauro S C550

Wouldn`t use it anywhere near an add on video card, even good brands of PSU like Corsair recommend that their Bronze efficiency rated PSU only be used when the PC only has onboard video.

Xigmatek are not the worst of brands but likewise they are nowhere near good quality and that is something that your GPU needs, misleadingly labelled as C550 the PSU clearly states on the information label max combined power is 456W and even that is questionable.

Thanks bro, I will look to change my PSU but bro please try help me with this, cause my pc never had a problem all this came suddenly.
Like now i can see that exactly after 3 hours of up time my pc becomes very laggy, like i cant even play 720p videos smooth and when i open browser cpu usage goes directly 100% for a second. A reboot fixes this but then after 3 hours the problem occurs again. The WHEA-Logger starts to appear more often when it becomes laggy, like it appears almost every second in the events viewer p.s the Kernel Power seems to be gone since i havent got it in the last 48 hours

Also i have seen that my BIOS Firmware version is very outdated, do you think that may cause something?

Latest Version:

My version:

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 2006, 11/13/2019
SMBIOS Version 3.1
Embedded Controller Version 255.255
BIOS Mode UEFI
BaseBoard Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
BaseBoard Product PRIME B450M-K
BaseBoard Version Rev X.0x

Last thing you should be doing while you have a weak PSU is start messing with the BIOS, should the computer shutdown while you are updating the BIOS you will brick the MB and be left with a rather expensive paperweight.

Get your PC tested by a local tech who will have the required PSU to swap in or see if you can borrow a known good 500W or above Gold efficiency rated PSU from a proven brand such as Corsair, EVGA or Seasonic.
