OK guys this one had me scratching my head big time. I had even got to the point of returning it and calling it a day. Well tonight I thought I'll try one more time only this time I did it ion the kitchen table. And used a different monitor, cheap keyboard and mouse. Well you know the drill one stick of ram and it freaking worked so I go through everything and it works move to office and now it won't go to bios again. I narrowed it down to my new monitor. I change the hdmi cable and still no go. I restored the monitor to factory settings and I'm in business never thought it was the monitor cause it worked. Just my luck I got lazy and didn't want to move it from my office. Thanks guys for the help and support.

Yes that's where it got even better so my monitor is a Samsung c32r500fhn 32" curved monitor. If I use it computer will not go into bios but 27"flat screen eMachines will. Next step hdmi cords made no difference which cord same results. I got to admit I'm sort of pissed at this point. But I then try something for the hell of it restore to default settings on the Samsung and now it all works. I was amazed.

so it got even weirder!!!

new curved screen causes the issue but resetting that screen back to its defaults does not cause the issue?
any chance you know what changes to the screen settings you did?

that screen must have worked straight out of the box as it would have had default settings at that stage?

Yes the screen is not brand new had it for a couple of months but I was working fine with my old rig. The settings I messed with changed my screen brightness automatically when it got dark in my office also something to do with a gaming mode but I never saw a real difference in that one. Here is a pic of the finished product
