MSI Monitor Didplay Issues/Graphics Card Issues

This is following up from my previous thread, https://pchelpforum.net/t/windows-11-boot-issues.88451/page-2#post-188788.

After trying all the previous recommendations in my previous thread. I was able to finally do a start up repair which allowed me to boot back into Windows. Though once I logged in I realised my graphics driver was showing as Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor (or something along those lines). So I downloaded the device drivers and installed them which led me back to my original problem im in my original thread - the display after the enter Bios (press del etc), displays a "HDMI no signal" message and then goes black.

My graphics card is AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT.

I removed the motherboard battery and rest bios and reset CLRTC bios, which had worked in the past when I first built the PC and was having issues with the graphics driver.

So I booted into safe mode with networking - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT shows up in device manager instead of the Microsoft one.

I have tried linking the PC to a normal TV via HDMI and it works perfectly.

It just doesn't work with the monitor I have been previously using before.

Had you not abandoned the previous thread this issue could have been dealt with there, you may now need to wait until someone who is willing to help comes along :(

Hi Philip,

I know, apologies, life got in the way, it's been pretty hectic with me lately.

I actually felt bad about abandoning it

I appreciated you trying to help me previously!

I just hope I can get to the bottom of the issue, it's been frying my brain!:ROFLMAO:

Thanks so much!

I would uninstall the current driver with ddu
or AMD cleanup utility
and try 2022 driver Revision 22.Q4
