Monitors randomly waking up from sleep or not going to sleep at all.

So on my windows 11 desktop, I have my settings set to 5 minutes before monitors go to sleep. Normally this isn't an issue, however, randomly, through the night the monitors will wake up from sleep, then go back. Sometimes they'll stay on for ages sometimes they'll go back to sleep after 5 minutes.

The rare time, they just won't go to sleep at all, even if I lock my computer.
I've googled about it, can't find anything. I've checked task manager for any errors or any events that happen when the monitor wakes up by itself but nothing shows up. I don't know if it's a program doing it. I've tested with my computer freshly turned on, still does it. Have yet to try safe mode, so it might be a program, but how can I find out which one? My computer is right beside my bed (Very small place) so the bright light can be annoying when trying to sleep.

Thank you.

g'day and welcome to the forum. :)

if you're lucky, it may just be Wake On LAN (WOL), set in the BIOS, or in your network adapter.

quick test, before you go to bed, disable your network adapters.
right click Start > Network Connections > Advanced network settings > disable all your network adapters.
