1. PSU is under rated
2. the more you use it the more chances you take of screwing up the system and having to replace more parts

With the fact that you have been using the system with such an underrated PSU the longer you wait the more expensive it may cost you to fix in the long run.

Refer to the link I posted in Post # 15
Okay i will go and look for a new psu now, thanks for your help and i really hope thats the only problem with my pc. :)

The PSU guidance given is bang on the money not only because the PSU cannot produce the claimed 450W but also because of the cheap and nasty ACBel brand that the PSU is, after Bestec they are probably the worst brand that brand name computers use to keep their build costs down.

After i turned off the computer it didnt start up agian

What happens when you press the power on button, is the PC completely dead or does the PC start but you get no video signal.

the fans and the lights went on but i didnt get any signal on the monitor

Are you ok with working inside of a computer.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed,, thanks.

No problem (y)

You will need to use a HDMI display for the following as that is all that your MB (motherboard) has, you must also be getting an actual "No Signal" message on the screen, if you are not getting such a message it could be the screen that has a problem.

The following checks require the computer case to be opened so take the following safety precautions 1st, disconnect the power cord from the wall socket, press the case power button for twenty seconds or so to get rid of any residual charge in the system, take anti static precautions before touching anything inside, you can do this by touching a bare metal part of the case or PSU

Take off the side of the case.

Remove the add on video card from the PCI-E slot on the MB.

Make sure that your RAM is seated properly.

Connect your screen to the HDMI port on the MB.

Connect the power cord and the keyboard to the PC.

Power up to see if you get any video signal.

Post back with an update for us.

Yes, pop it back in with the add on GPU removed from the PCI-E slot on the MB.

The PSU being weak and not a good brand could just mean that it is too weak to power an add on GPU but is enough for the MBs integrated graphics.

I just tested it without the graphics card and it worked with the integrated graphics. I am still gonna buy a new psu so i can use my graphics card but im still suprised it worked.

im still suprised it worked.

Why?

It was explained in my reply #34 that the PSU could be too weak to power an add on GPU but is enough for the MBs integrated graphics.

If you want to use the PC for gaming you need an add on GPU so it goes without saying that you need a new PSU.

Now that you know the PC itself is ok you need to get the present add on video card tested in a computer that has an appropriate output and quality PSU.
