Solved Laptop doesn't work after cleaning

After disassembling, cleaning, and assembling the laptop (acer asphire 7739g), it turned on, but did not display the image on the screen.

I disassembled it again, reconnect all the cables, put it back together, and after that it does not start at all. When I try to turn it on the indicator lights up for 2 seconds and goes out. It automatically tries to boot again and goes out untill i unplug power cable.
I even pluged a USB fan and it also spins for 1 second and goes of repeatedly.

Of course, I unplugged everything and took out the battery before disassembling.

I tried to rearrange the RAM in different slots, cleaned it with an eraser. Zero result.
Before that, the computer worked properly (almost (after a few minutes after boot it could spontaneously go into BSoD with a «video scheduler internal error») but this is different question).

I only used a magnetic screwdriver and a small paint brush.

I also wiped the display and laptop case from from inside with an antiseptic (Ingredients: water, isopropyl alcohol, HEC).
Maybe it could cause any problems.

Before that, I revived a regular PC with the same tools, and there were no problems with it.
Could it be a short circuit or maybe I damage the motherboard somehow?

can you elaborate on your definition of 'dismantled'?
are we just talking taking the battery, memory and drive out - or are we talking complete strip down, keyboard and touchpad disconnected, motherboard removed, screen unhinged, LCD panel removed, etc?

I'm talking about complete strip down.
I tried to clean up dust from laptop. That means I had to detach motherboard to get to fan and clean it up.
Only thing I haven't done was applying new thermal paste, I don't have it right now.

to say that stripping down a laptop is a major undertaking would be an understatement.
it is a massive task - not the actual tear-down, but the re-assembly is a specialised task.
those ribbon cables and their connection slots with those little, brittle, lock-down tabs are just buggers to get right.
the cable has to be seated properly, itself a tricky job, and I've snapped more of the black push-down locks then I care to admit.

almost guarantee your issue stems from the re-assembling of the components, but where in particular that issue is, could be one or more places.

Well, after another attempt at reconnecting and rechecking everything, it finally turned on normally.

It even starts Windows.

But another problem emerged. Something happened to the display. It only shows a white screen.

I connected another display and it really shows everything.

At first I tried to reconnect the display cable to the motherboard, but nothing changed. Then I actually disassembled the display, carefully connected everything, but nothing has changed either.

I guess my display just died (I don't know how it died. I never hit the screen, I never spilled anything on it.)

using Occam's Razor...

screen was working -> dismantled and re-assembled PC (twice) -> display not working. :)

from that latest screenshot, have you tried putting the keyboard back in, maybe (if you are lucky) there is some sort of sensor detecting no KB so therefore showing no screen.
but external screen works, so as stated, long shot.

because the other 2 alternatives are, 1) dismantle again on the assumption something else hasn't gone back together 'just so' or 2) you have killed your screen!

I fully assembled it back (even with keyboard). That doesn't made any difference.

Right now I trying to use external monitor, but it also have lots of ploblems.

External monitor only works in BIOS and Windows «safe mode», but every time I need to manually switch display mode.

I once again trying to install GPU drivers, but after «successful» installation it does not show any image on screen.

I tierd of trying to reincarnate this piece of old junk.

Update: I guees I finally fixed it.
Monitor is dead. Sad.
Now I need to use external monitor.
Problems with monitor fixed by windows auto updates.
Now I will avoid any driver updates for now.

Anyway thanks for help. I really appreciate your attention to my problem.
