Pending OP Response Lag

I built my pc a year ago it always ran great until recently, first get into a game it runs good high fps good graphics, until after about 30 minutes it starts lagging the fps drop the graphics quality starts to drop, i’ve done a clean installation of graphics and cpu drivers, nothing is overheating, ive tried using ethernet and wireless internet, it gets good internet too.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I could try the lag gets progressively worse to the point I cant play anymore.

Just me personally, I'd be considering a fresh install of Windows.
Yes, backup your data first, and it means reinstalling everything, but it's the only way to get rid of 'performance rot', which could be your issue.

You've already tried the low hanging fruit options, and there are other procedures to try, but in the meantime of trying those band-aid solutions you could just bite the bullet and take the rig back to an environment you know it was working well under.

And in the small chance it doesn't help, you would have a clean slate to start from.

Go to www.speedtest.net and show us your internet speeds.

Does it happen for all games? Like, is maybe Steam the issue, or certain game's servers.
