How to get Seagate Exos Enterprise HDD to Be Detected By Windows?

I am going to be purchasing a Seagate Exos Enterprise HDD. Seagate mentions that you have to do something with the power supply in order for the HDD to be detected by Windows. Does anyone know what that implies? I also saw something in the reviews about altering the power supply cable but the person wasn't clear on what he did.
