So basically, I need to purchase more RAM because otherwise one of my games won't work (Escape from Tarkov). Currently sitting on 8GB of RAM (specs below) and i'm looking for a 32-64 GB upgrade.
I know, I know, why the **** would I need 64GB? And to be fair, I really don't know. I'm a minor and my dad just decided to go no balls and get as much RAM as my motherboard could handle. So i'm trying to at least save him a bit of money. If you guys find any other options for 32, i'll take that too.
My current RAM is :
HyperX
DDR4
2, 4GB sticks.
1.2V
2667 MHz (i think they're automatically overclocked)
288-PIN DIMM
Here is my full hardware list of my PC :
Processor...................................Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8500 CPU @ 3.00GHz, 3000 Mhz, 6 Core(s),
Motherboard MSI.....................Z370 GAMING PLUS (MS-7B61)
RAM............................................Well... 8GB ram, details above
GPU............................................AMD Radeon RX 480, 4 RAM slots, and two other for some weird ****.
Power Supply............................Smart SPD-0700P – 700W 80 PLUS® Standard Certified APFC PSU
My goal with this post is to find a whole new set of sticks, i'm looking for 4x16GB sticks. I'm also asking for them to be in the range of max 400$ CAD. If they look like garbage that's unfortunate, but i'll take it.

Second point, I would like to avoid having to upgrade anything else on the side. I posted this before and a user gave me some sticks that only worked efficiently on a different power supply (granted, he provided me options for PSUs, but i'm only buying RAM at the moment.)

Also, last question, should I wait for black friday, or any other kind of tech sale to do the purchase? My bro told me that it's pointless because they'll just jack the prices up. Let me know.

Thank you immensely to everyone that helps out in this post, the pioneers of my pc upgrade!

2667 is that motherboards highest speed before you need to start using an overclocked profile in BIOS or manually setting the timings and frequency. and in my (limited) experience in doing with of those, it can be a mine field. but that was ages ago and maybe things have improved.

so for me, I'd be sticking to 2667 sticks.
at Umart (the place I usually get parts from) they have 1x8GB 2666MHz for $AUD45.

if you go for 3200 or above, I'd get it done at the store, that way as they try one brand and it doesn't work, they'll get another until it does.
that way you don't have to worry about finding they aren't compatible when you get home and have to keep trying different ones until they are.
