Was watching a video and suddenly my screen went dark and my pc restart with just one of my monitors working (the smallest one) I reset it again to find green lines all over the screen flickering all over it.

I checked device manger and it says my gpu is detected but won't run because of error 48 ?.

I want to know if I can fix it or just get a new gpu

My specs
Rtx 2080
I7-9700k
32gb ram

g'day olli and welcome to the forums. :)

some things to try - remove the GPU and clean the circuitry and it's contacts and the motherboard slot with a soft bristled brush.

double check the cable into the screen and into the GPU is secure, even try another one if you can.

that then leaves uninstalling the current drive and reloading it, checking you have the recent version.

Missing from your parts list is the most important component, post the brand and model name or number of the PSU for us.

Remove the GPU from the MB, hook the screen up to the appropriate video port on the MB, let us know the outcome when you post the PSU info.
