Hey there, I know there is tons of information out there, but I might just be doing something wrong. I can't boot into Linux after installing it.
I have a 250 GB SSD and 2 primary, HFS+ partitions (recovery and Mac OS X), 1 primary, ext4 partition (for Linux) and a swap area. After the installation of Linux, I installed rEFInd (also tried rEFIt) to be able to start Linux. It just doesn't show up, what can I do?
Additional questions:
1. I installed Linux on a 32GB USB3 Flash Drive. I can select to boot from it. It works on other PCs but not on my Macbook. It always gets stuck in a black screen with a caret in the top left of my screen (looks like a terminal, but I can't type anything). What could be my problem?
2. I would also like to have an additional Windows partition on my Macbook. Is that possible, since Windows needs another two primary partitions (I only have one HDD, but I could delete the Mac Recovery partition)?
Help is very much appreciated!
