Have you asked the others you game with are they getting problems?
Yeah I have actually. No one I play with experiences anything like this. Everyone I know says the game runs great. The xbox version of it has some performance issues but everyone on pc says it runs great and definitely doesnt have these weird microstutters/hitreg problems that I've been having.

Let get a speccy report.

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

@Bruce what do you make of the speed test

totally unbelievable to me! mind blown!!!

at work, we just paid $21,000 to NBN to get a dedicated 200/200 fibre to the building connection.
my speedtest just then got me 94/94, which we are ecstatic about as we were 25/5.
so to see something like 900/800 that Jakeeer got is the Holy Grail as far as I'm concerned.

Yup and otherwise the internet works perfectly. I've never experienced stuff download so quickly. A 100gb game used to take all day, now it's minutes.... Really crazy and makes it kind of infuriating that I cant find anything that's blatantly wrong causing these issues with my game.

Ill post the speccy shortly

Hmmmm I just ran the same speedtest again and this time my download speed is barely over 100mbps. One other person is streaming netflix or something right now, could that be the reason why? I only mention this because I've done this test dozens of times and never have gotten below 600-700mbps and I'm sure Ive done it while people were streaming...

Ok my internet speeds are fine again, I disconnected the Ethernet cord from my external lan card, tried it with my motherboard's ethernet and it worked fine (>900mbps download), then I plugged it back into the external card and now my download speeds are fine again.

But it's weird because it was getting like 103-106mbps like something was capping it at 100mbps.
