If overclocking ram in bios turn off.
Reduce display Hz Down from 240Hz - for testing purposes.
What version of Direct X do you have
  1. To check which version of DirectX is on your PC using the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, select the Start button and type dxdiag in the search box, then press Enter.
  2. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, select the System tab, then check the DirectX version number under System Information.
Direct X 12.

Is DOCP considered an overclock? Regardless ive tried with both it on and off as well as turning off every power saving feature and vice versa as well as resetting bios to default settings.

I've tried a previous driver in the past (Ive had this problem on and off for some months now) but Ill try everything listed here.

I'm starting to think there's some type of interference causing thing due to how much different hardware I've tried (3 motherboards, a Ryzen 5600x, Intel i5 12600k, 2 gpus, 2psus, 2 sets of ram, 2 ssds, win 10, win 11)... I live right next to what's essentially a juvenile detention center. Maybe there's RF interference going on?

I tried without DOCP and bios set to all defaults and it wasnt any better. After one game it got so bad that whenever someone jumped in front of me it felt like their player model was stuck at 30fps and skipping frames. Everything just feels broken. And there are so many times where the game feels perfect and it's blatantly obvious how different it feels. On a "good" day I wreck everyone and hit flick shots constantly with no aim assist on controller with 0 deadzones. But when this crap happens it all feels futile. People who I normally outshoot roughly 85% of the time suddenly outshoot me 85% of the time. It's like the timing of the game feels off. Everything from the audio to the projectiles to the 'timing' and pacing of interactions with other players. And I know it's not just 'lag' because on a good day I'll see someone lagging but it's manageable because it's isolated to just that one player as opposed to the entirety of the game.

Sorry for the rant, just getting irritated...

I think the only thing I didnt try tonight was lowering my refresh rate. I'll give that a try tomorrow, until then I'll briefly list some other things I've tried, incase anyone happens to recommend something I've done:

Playing in a clean boot
Playing on wifi (same experience plus additional lag)
Trying another monitor (165hz 1440p Asus as opposed to my Benq Zowie)
Turning off AMA/Dyac+ on my monitor
Disabling/enabling PBO
I've tried Win 10 and 11
Different USB cable for controller (it was the same brand though)
Nvidia control panel: prefer maximum performance+ ultra low latency
Windows high performance power plan
Disabling USB device/LAN power saving features in device manager
Using a different ethernet port on the G3100 router
Disconnecting every other devices' cables from the router

And probably more Im forgetting.

I do appreciate all the help and contribution to solving this problem everyone 🙌

Download and run Quick CPU to see if this helps. :)

Quick CPU Tutorial.................

Alright I'll check it out. I bought a larger case today so I can try out the pcie ethernet card I got a couple weeks back. I wont be around my pc until later tonight... When I get home Ill build it in the new case and try Quick CPU and maybe lower the monitor's refresh rate too.

Sorry for the late reply. I tried running Quick CPU per the instructions in the video as well as the new ethernet card and it didnt help at all unfortunately. Only thing I didnt try was lowering my refresh rate, I'll try that tomorrow I guess. Not really sure what else to try.

any luck with the refresh rate change?
have any of the issues been resolved?
Unfortunately no, the issues with my game still happen nearly everytime Ive tried to play.

The DNS issue I think is fixed... It hasnt been resetting my DNS server and nslookup hasnt been timing out like it had been

I'm gonna end up testing the game on a relative's gaming laptop to see if it does the same thing. Because I honestly dont have any clue if it's a hardware problem, a network problem on my end, or some weird electrical issue at my place. I've been reading a little bit about dirty power and how some people say it can cause these problems. I ordered a multimeter to test some of the outlets and next week I'm gonna turn everything in my house off via the breaker accept for my pc and internet just to see if there's any difference.

Might even see about bringing my set up to my relative's house but that's a bit of work.

moving the rig to another house is a good theory.
and just to state the obvious, be extra careful when poking multimeter prongs into electrical sockets.
plus, if your house has an earth leakage detector (been law in Oz for decades), when you poke in the prongs across earth and positive or negative, you'll trip that device.
but you crazy Yanks aren't big users of a house earth circuit in each of your power outlets.

if you think your power may be dirty, a UPS unit will sort that out quick smart. they not only provide backup power for a few minutes but their side benefit is cleaning up the sine wave to the devices plugged into the UPS outlets.

Unfortunately the laptop I tried couldnt run the game at all. Everything lagged, stuttered, there was constant screen tearing and massive input lag regardless if vsync was on. It simply couldnt run it. It has a 1650gpu in it and only 8gb of ram.

As for the multimeter, all of my outlets are fine so Im not sure. One day soon Im gonna hit the breaker for everything asides from my internet and PC and then if it works Ill start figuring out what's causing it.

I thought you were going to try moving your rig to another house instead of installing your game on another PC?
that will test the power theory,
I havent had the chance to do that yet.

I did try another computer that has a ~9 year old i7 and a gtx960 and at 60hz. The game did work fine for 30 mins or so and then I began experiencing the same exact symptoms as my pc. It was the same thing where at first I notice a little bit of player stutter for a game or 2 and then the following game it's like the game just breaks and everyone stutters constantly. Literally the same thing happens exactly like that on my gaming pc. It's weird to me how it works fine and then it slowly gets worse.

I'll update when I get a chance to try it at someone else's place.
