i have alot of computer hardware lying around so i decided to put together whats compatible
1st motherboard
asrock FM2A68M-DG3+
also tried
asus A88XM-A
with 2 processors a10-5800
and a4-5300
used different sticks of ddr3 ram
used 2 separate psu 300 watt and 400 watt
tried 2 different monitors (vga & dvi)
even tried with an old radeon 5450 (both ports)
same result.... the motherboard turns on (led on) heatsink fan spins.... if theres a vid card fan spins too
but monitor stays black....

what am i missing ?

is ur mother board with asrock FM2A68M-DG3 + a10-5800 + ddr3 ram and plugged vga in to the onboard (removed other external graphic cards), and u can reset bios by removing cmos battery and keep like 10 min

You cannot just slap part together and hope they work oyu have to check and see if they are combatable or not. The older the things are that you are attempting to use and depending on how much they have been used and how they were stored may not work.

Thermal Paste?
What are you using to cool the system?
Make and Model of the PSU's some GPU require a certain amount for power to be supplied. Depending on usage and age they mot put out what they claim.
used different sticks of ddr3 ram
Without know make and model there is no telling if they are combatable with the motherboard.
radeon 5450
Showing a Release Date Feb 4th, 2010, which makes the card 12 years old and might not even work.

Yet no mentions of any type of HDD.

You really need to post as much information as possible

Memory QVL

Note1: 2PCS = tested successfully with 2 modules
Note2: The O.C. mode is not guaranteed. It depends on whole system configuration and other parameters.
