Make sure the ram fits the cpu.
The forum is littered with people who buy E.G 6200 ram because the MB can take it and the cpu can only handle 5200 ram.
Then come here and ask why am I having trouble.
I got an R9 7900x. i was planning on going with 64GB 6000 CL30. But I'm glad you mentioned it because I didn't actually bother checking what the CPU can handle. I only checked the mobo QVL.
After doing a little research it looks like the R9 7900x can handle 6000MT/s RAM. I guess 5200 is just the baseline speed without expo enabled, much like how the baseline for AM4 was always 2133 until you enabled XMP or DOCP. Supposedly 6000 is the sweet spot for AM5 or atleast 7000 series AM5 CPUs.

whelp i got it built and the RAM does work at 6000mt/s, after a bios update except now I'm having a pretty major issue. I ended up just reinstalling windows but windows is not finding any network adaptors. I think I'm going to have open a new thread here. I've tried everything I can think of and I've been working on this for almost 8hrs straight now. LAN and wifi adaptors are enabled in the bios. I've tried to install the drivers manually by downloading them but windows is saying that there is no network adaptor controller found. I've gotten windows fully installed and updated and it doesn't show any network adaptors in device manager, no LAN and no WiFi. when I try and install the LAn and WiFi drivers by navigating to the folders that they are in it says there are no drivers in the folders even though i know for a fact there are because I downloaded them direct from MSI's website. I'm at my wits end. I think I'm going to just reinstall all my programs and get my settings setup and then probably return this mobo. Unless you guyscan help me.

Run this on the new machine.
Transfer it via a usb thumb drive.
Get the logs back here.
Perhaps you could tether your phone to the machine, use your phone’s hotspot via Bluetooth or USB see if you can connect like that and check for updates.

Download the PCHFLogTool
Unzip to your desktop
Right Click run as admin.
Click Gather logs.
A new .txt named PCHF.txt will appear on your desktop.
Copy paste or attach that.

Could this be the problem with the network
that's what i'm thinking. Right now I have a usb wifi adaptor installed and I'm using that for internet. Something else that is strange is I have bluetooth and the bluetooth and wifi share the same antenna, but again no wifi through my mobo's onboard wifi.
Here's the PCHF log file attached

those are actually the exact ones I downloaded and tried installing. And that MSI Driver Utility Installer is actually baked into the BIOS and was supposed to run when i installed Windows but it didn't even though it was enabled in the BIOS. It doesn't matter now though. I returned the mobo and ordered the same one but brand new instead of used/like new. It's supposedly scheduled to be delivered today, thank ***. It was originally scheduled for delivery Friday but I guess i got lucky. Now common sense would be that I can just install my OS drive in the new motherboard since the old one was the exact same mobo, but then again I'm wondering if I'll run into problems since Windows couldn't detect any network adaptors on the last one? I'm hoping once I get it installed and put the drive in that Windows update will download the drivers automatically, or I can try the drivers from MSI's site.

Live Update
Live Update feature allows you to scan system and download the latest drivers, BIOS and utilities. With Live Update, you don’t need to search the drivers on websites, and don’t need to know the models of motherboard and graphics cards. Live Update will download the appropriate drivers automatically. To use Live Update:1. Connect your computer to the internet.
2. Go to Support > Live Update.
PP107 in the manual

I looked into live update because before I had my Asus mobo I always bought MSI boards and had Live Update on all of them. Unfortunately, MSI discontinued Live Update. They claimed they integrated it into MSI Center but I checked out MSI Center and wasn't impressed. Since i already have the drivers on a flash drive what i might do is actually NOT connect an ethernet cable or to a wifi network and just install the drivers from the flash drive while booted in safe mode.
