Make sure the ram fits the cpu.
The forum is littered with people who buy E.G 6200 ram because the MB can take it and the cpu can only handle 5200 ram.
Then come here and ask why am I having trouble.
I got an R9 7900x. i was planning on going with 64GB 6000 CL30. But I'm glad you mentioned it because I didn't actually bother checking what the CPU can handle. I only checked the mobo QVL.
After doing a little research it looks like the R9 7900x can handle 6000MT/s RAM. I guess 5200 is just the baseline speed without expo enabled, much like how the baseline for AM4 was always 2133 until you enabled XMP or DOCP. Supposedly 6000 is the sweet spot for AM5 or atleast 7000 series AM5 CPUs.

whelp i got it built and the RAM does work at 6000mt/s, after a bios update except now I'm having a pretty major issue. I ended up just reinstalling windows but windows is not finding any network adaptors. I think I'm going to have open a new thread here. I've tried everything I can think of and I've been working on this for almost 8hrs straight now. LAN and wifi adaptors are enabled in the bios. I've tried to install the drivers manually by downloading them but windows is saying that there is no network adaptor controller found. I've gotten windows fully installed and updated and it doesn't show any network adaptors in device manager, no LAN and no WiFi. when I try and install the LAn and WiFi drivers by navigating to the folders that they are in it says there are no drivers in the folders even though i know for a fact there are because I downloaded them direct from MSI's website. I'm at my wits end. I think I'm going to just reinstall all my programs and get my settings setup and then probably return this mobo. Unless you guyscan help me.

Run this on the new machine.
Transfer it via a usb thumb drive.
Get the logs back here.
Perhaps you could tether your phone to the machine, use your phone’s hotspot via Bluetooth or USB see if you can connect like that and check for updates.
