My 1 TB USB Drive has Errors on it & using the default Windows Error check would take hours on end to fix. Is there a quicker & faster way to fix this w/out waiting so long?
Nope. If you dont want to wait, buy a new drive..Is there a quicker & faster way to fix this w/out waiting so long?
So far it's still working, the real test is when I get to my bigger files which are my gaming files & I have a lot of them. You have a time line Eddie..?
I'll let you know what happens. So you know i will be asking for an update in about a week..
Instead, I'll just get a better 1 TB drive. The one I have has a slow data transfer anyway & i'm not sure what version it is but it's not no 3.0 though. I'm not sure when I'll get to the store nor when I'll get the $ for it though. The bigger files are going in, I'll have to let those go in over night & if it get's done, I'll let you know how it went.
Will mark solved for now, if you require further assistance please contact a staff member who can reopen it for you.I'm not sure when I'll get to the store nor when I'll get the $ for it though.
I'm running Windows on my main PC, not the External Drive. I have all my backed up files on the External Drive. I 1st noticed the 931 GB when I 1st attached it to my PC.Are you running windows on the HDD?
