Your one above this is post #20.
So post #3 is the third one from the start of this thread, the one where xrobwx71 starts of with **IMPORTANT**
And in post #18, xrbobwx71 supplied the link on how to create a Windows restore point. (y)

In your link, they provide the driver in the Drivers (in red) section.
In the Knowledge Basse section there is also a link where it mentions "it might be missing the Xbox 360 controller drivers".
Have you installed these?

I checked multiple times, i didn't find any drivers. It just goes to the xbox controller store website. Did you find any real drivers? If yes could you please send a link?

That link will direct download the drivers and firmware.

**IMPORTANT**:

- IF A DRIVER PACKAGE FOR YOUR PRODUCT IS ALREADY INSTALLED ON THE COMPUTER, RUNNING THE PACKAGE INSTALLATION ONCE WILL ACTUALLY UNINSTALL THE PREVIOUS VERSION.
IT WILL THEN BE NECESSARY TO RUN IT AGAIN TO PROCEED TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW VERSION

- DO NOT CONNECT the racing wheel to your PC before being prompted to do so.- DO NOT CLICK in any Windows-specific panes that may appear during the update process.- RESTART THE COMPUTER once the package setup is complete.

Sorry, my bad. I installed the driver which you posted, then restarted the computer (it told me to) then i plugged the wheel in the PC, still didn't recognise it.
And i'm pretty sure it's not the right one either. This one (the driver) said FFB (Force Feedback) which my wheel doesn't have.

I already did this is what they said:
Thank you for contacting Thrustmaster Technical Support.

Ferrari 458 Italia is an obsolete model and we no longer providing support for it.

The drivers are indeed built in Xbox 360 controller drivers. You may contact Microsoft to see if they can offer some troubleshooting for Xbox 360 drivers.

Otherwise, the only other solution is to buy a new wheel.

Our Thrustmaster team wishes you a pleasant day and remain at your disposal for any further information about our products!

Shall i contact ms too?

I wish you the best of luck.
I've read quite a few MS forums offering help over the years and I have to say, I have been surprised with the helpers lack of engagement.
They talk nicely but don't actually offer anything that a Goggle search couldn't do just as well.

Have you ensured the drivers are installed & are the latest?
Link also has firmware updates but unless the pc can detect the controller then I doubt it’ll update.
If the devs say it’s obsolete then I would uninstall the driver/s & reinstall using compatibility mode.
