Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have been having a problem with my sound lowering and increasing while I am gaming. I just recently built my PC and I would notice that when I play a game like League of Legends and I click on to the game client and I am watching either Youtube or Twitch at the same time, the volume in the web browser would lower. Then if I click on to my browser the sound would increase to normal again. I've been trying to find a solution but I am stump. Can anyone help with this?

Which browser are you using? Does the problem happen with any other browser?
Does this happen with other games or just that one?
Have you checked under Sound setting on your PC to see if there’s a separate volume option for the browser or game?

Please check:
Right click Start & choose Run, type mmsys.cpl & click enter.

Click on the Communications tab under the Sound control panel, select the ‘Do nothing’ option under When Windows detects communication activity.

Click apply & restart the PC.

You may have to increase the volume for the games If they’re the program which is causing the volume to lower.
It may also be that as there’s another program open (Edge) that any games will reduce their volume automatically.

Ok, I will work on this later tonight and let you know. Thank you!

So I check the volume on the mixer for each program and everything is set to 100 but the volume issue still persists.
