Ads don’t mean they are legit. Also, is Office in any way tied to your Microsoft login? Do you use a Microsoft account to login to Windows? It could be syncing info from your MS account.

I do not know if office is tied to my Microsoft account. I just turn the computer on, and it loads to my desktop. I do not have to type in any password etc. I have Office 2021 installed again and working. So I will just leave well enough alone. Attached is a screenshot from Groupon for Office 2024Comment

Groupon shows it as Office 2024 Professional Plus, but you actually have the LTSC version which has a few differences, see here; Overview of Office LTSC 2024 - Office | Microsoft Learn
In my humble years of experience, I’ve seen plenty of Professional Plus editions with license key issues, due to it being MS’s volume licensing offering. This seems to be the scammers favourite version to hijack.
Plus, $30 for Office that is usually hundreds and hundreds, is a red flag in itself.
Another good article on LTSC and Office pricing here; https://4sysops.com/archives/microso...-stabilty-tax/Comment

Not sure how I did it, but I have Office 2024 installed. If I open Word, and then account, it shows Office 2024 activated etc. If I look in add / remove it also shows Office 2024 Prof. See screenshots. Many thanks to all that offered help and suggestions. Many Many thanks, MikeComment
