These appear to be legitimate sites and what they have is free to use, at least for personal use. Is there a danger that there might be a hidden virus imbedded and then would get installed with a download from them?

Highly unlikely but cannot say the chances are 0 either.

As xrobwx71 said, I’m a big fan of that ‘funny feeling’.

As much as one can, make sure the odds are in your favour; AV on and current, use uBlock Origin in your browser.
And do due diligence about the website; reviews about the site, Contact Us page looks legit, VirusTotal checks out.

Thank you xrobwx71 and Bruce. The Virus Total website came back with all entries “Clean” (the other two websites didn’t work). I do use Ublock Origin and the general reviews of the website had no negatives in it. So I will use that site.
