Dell Optiplex 5270 (all-in-one) monitor display artifacts flickering flashing ghosting

Dear friends, this AIO 5270’s monitor displays artifacts &/or flickering flashing ghosting. It was doing this on Windows 10, plus when in the ‘bios’ & now on MXLinux. The only time it did not malfunction on the display monitor was just when actually in the process of updating the bios. After updating the bios things improved but the problem returned again as bad as before after the next start-up. Inside - the capacitors, fans, etc. look like new. Included is a sample video if anyone could be so kind as to try & help figure this out *

Hello Yvonne,

When having display problems the first and most accurate test that we suggest is hooking the computer up to another display to see if the issue is replicated on that screen, your AIO has a display port so any computer monitor or TV that has a display port will do.
