Whatsapp issue

a friend of mine says her Whatsapp freezes and then this screen pops up. She uninstalls the app then reinstalls it and it works fine for a while then pops up again.
Someone else said it could be a virus but wouldn’t affect other apps too? Is there anything she can do to prevent this from reoccuring?
