Can’t exit the bios menu after upgrading new CPU

    Can’t exit the bios menu after upgrading new CPU

    Recently upgraded my cpu from a Ryzen 5 2600x to a Ryzen 5 5600x. As far as I’m aware, I did all the steps to installing the cpu correctly and when I tried turning on and entering the computer, I am met with the bios menu. I then tried exiting the bios menu but I am then taken straight back to it. I have installed the correct bios version (4.10). My motherboard model is B450M-HDV r4.0.

      It is also not recognising my hard drive

          Before you put the new CPU in did you check to make sure that you did or did not need to update the BIOS?

          What version of BIOS is installed.

          Does the system work properly with the old CPU so you can do this?
