Can I change the dedicated video memory?

    Hello,

I have a Dell Lattitude 7280 and want to bump my dedicated VRAM up a little bit. I watched a youtube video to try and change it but didn’t seem to work.

I’m not gonna go through youtube again as I wanted to hear it from people who know what they’re talking about on here.

    Processor Intel(R) Coreâ„¢ i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.50 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.64 GB usable)
Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics 520
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dan

Your notebook does not have a dedicated GPU so therefore there is no VRAM present, your video is provided courtesy of the CPU on die and this in turn uses the system memory so you would in effect be robbing Peter to pay Paul if you started messing with the registry to increase the amount of system memory that video was allowed for support.

Why are you wanting to do this on such a basic computer that only has the one memory slot and is therefore only any good for school/office type work and/or web browsing etc.
