Factory reset on a Wyse 5030 Zero Client (VMWare) / P25 thin client
I recently bought a set of 8 Wyse 5030 Zero Client (VMWare) / P25 thin clients. I don’t have a server to hook them up to but I can’t change any of the configurations in the initial start up screen. It’s password protected and I don’t have the password. I would like to do a factory reset on the device but can’t get into the bios or do a reset from the system that comes up (do to not knowing the password). We will not assist with recovery of or figuring out of system passwords, PINs, or 2FA codes for any reason.
While we will not help you with getting around passwords we can advise you as to how you can have this resolved using legitimate means, take the device/s to a reputable tech local to you or have them come to you, you will need proof of ownership such as the sales invoice, picture ID such as a driving licence/passport and proof of your address such as a recent utility bill.
