I finished building my first ever pc and was ready to go onto the bios screen I had windows download on a usb and plugged it in. I then moved the uefi usb to front priority and I pressed f10 (I’m on msi btw) to save and reset hoping that when it starts up again I will have the windows screen. But I didn’t so I clicked on a setting were I can change from uefi to gsm and I set it to gsm now it says hdmi no signal

Hi Nathan
Could we get some more information on your motherboard MSI make a lot of different boards.
On the board you should have a cmos reset. This is normally a jump switch that you can move to reset OR remove the CMOS battery.- Unplug the power to the computer
- Remove the cmos battery - Silver round battery on the motherboard
- With both power and battery removed press the on button a couple of times to drain all residual power.
- Put battery back in
- Connect power
- Plug in usb and boot. You should not need to change any bios settings
Cheers
