    MS Outlook email sync issue

I noticed that I started losing inbox email from my Desktop and phone. Currently my email only goes back 5 or 6 weeks. Both account are SMPT.
I have an old laptop that I recently turned on to update the virus protection and Windows 10. This computer has all of my inbox emails for several years. The account on this computer is set for POP.
I think I’ve figured out the issue. Before I turned my laptop on, my outlook email stayed on a server and was shared by two devices. When I turned on the laptop, set for POP, it downloaded all the email to the computer and ERASED it from the server.
How do i get all of my emails from my laptop, back to my desktop?

Yep that is what POP accounts do. Which is why email is not IMAP.

Will be hard to do when you did not state what they program used for the email on the Laptop.

if you are using Outlook on the laptop, copy the PST file over to the desktop and open it from Outlook.
it will then appear down the left column as a separate folder.
