Gta 4 stuttering

Anyone have any idea at all how to fix gta stuttering in cut scenes and live gameplay? I load it up thru R* launcher and it was really bad but i messed around with settings and got it alot better but still it just needs that final bit of ironing out. Any suggestions?

So other can assist lets start here

Is this something that has just started or has always been going on?

What are you internet speeds showing compared to what you are paying for both up and down speeds?

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

    What else have you tried?
    What was the outcome?

There is no file to attach there is a link that you just copy and paste in to a post.

        This guide compiled by Gus.

Speccy will open and after a short wait will display a summary of your system specs.

        [ol]
[li]Click on the file menu.[/li][li]Then click Publish snapshot.[/li][/ol]

A dialogue box will ask you to confirm, select yes.

Create direct permalinks for your Google Drive files - 1,128,628 links and counting...

        Another dialogue box will open

        [ol]
        [li]Click Copy to Clipboard.[/li][li]Then click Close.[/li][/ol]

Now that your link has been copied please paste it into your next post. It should look something like the example below

BTW: once you have finished with speccy and no longer want it removing it is easy because it is a portable app with no install. Simply delete the downloaded file and folder you created when you decompressed it.
