Zoom install error 10006

Hi,

I am having problems installing the Zoom client (free membership) on my Windows 8 laptop. I am getting an error 1006. The installation goes from 0 to 98% but then gives this error.

Suggestions on the Zoom website are:

10006 (during installation)

The target disk is full. Antivirus software could have quarantined files downloaded by the Zoom installer.

Download the Zoom client installer manually and install it. If the problem persists, get the installer.txt file located in c:/users/username/AppData/Roaming/Zoom, then submit a ticket along with the installer.txt file.

I have checked for space and have temporarily disabled my Windows Defender (no other anti-virus present) but I still get the same error. I have also tried installing via the Administrator, but no luck.

An extract from the installer.txt file showing errors is as follows:

It looks like there is an issue with the file ssb_sdk.dll but am not sure what this means or how to fix it.
